Mawi's story originates out of the Greenspoint neighborhood in the north side of Houston, Texas. Mainor Arana a young businessman decided to team up with his older brother and first opened the shops doors in January 2011. The brothers aimed to provide a quality service for an affordable price to a marginalized segment of the community. The business began inside a single bay that rapidly expanded to the 5 bay shop it is today.

Mawi Auto is a family owned and operated collision repair facility that provides quality affordable repairs for our customers. We do not participate in the "direct repair programs" from insurance companies, which allows us to focus 100% of our time and efforts on doing what is right for our client, and their vehicle.

2.) Get Your Car In The Shop

If your car is too damaged to drive, stuck in an impound lot or with another shop, don’t worry! We’ll pay all fees involved with storage & impound, and tow your car to our shop at no cost.

3.) We Handle Your Insurance Claim

Once your car is in the shop, leave the rest to us! We'll handle all communication with your insurance company, ensuring a smooth claims process. Once the estimate is approved we'll get to work!

How Much Is My Deductible?

The amount of deductible that you will be responsible for is determined by your insurance policy. If you were not at fault, and you are a claimant on a 3rd party insurance claim you do NOT owe a deductible. Insurance companies determine fault by your account of the accident when you make the claim, and by reviewing the accident report filed with the police department. If you aren’t sure about your deductible, you can call us and we can tell you whether your insurance company has waived your deductible or whether you will be responsible to pay this when you pick up your vehicle.

Who Do I Pay My Deductible To?

If your deductible is not approved to be waived, it will be your responsibility to pay Mawi Auto when you pick up your vehicle. There are many factors that go into this decision, like extent of damage, claim date, your insurance policy etc. If you aren’t sure about your deductible, you can call us and we can tell you if your deductible is waived or whether it will be your responsibility.

Can I Get Other Body Service Done While My Car Is In The Shop?

Yes. Just let us know what other services you would like done while we have your vehicle, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

How Long Will It Take?
